cancer council commercial

The very last scene in the commercial was recorded in the Billy Blue studio. It was the first time I worked with a larger group of people on a production.

cancer council commercial

This is one of the first scenes of the cancer council commercial, where I focused on the close-ups of my talent’s eyes and where I used dolly zoom for the very first time. As the aim was to draw the audience into the scene, to make them empathise with the main character.

stripped naked

Clovelly Beach

This project was one of the most personal ones. Stripped naked is about people who live abroad and how they are slowly stripped of their own culture, traditions, and language as they assimilate into a new environment, ending up between two worlds, not belonging to either. We were recording at different locations, one of which was Clovelly Beach, where the very last scene was shot, where the main character is stripped of their clothes, their culture.

food photography

having had a commercial photography as a subject, i was able to learn how to light and shoot food and drinks, which was an amazing experience.

Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney

this is a behind the scenes from the same project as mentioned previously. this scene was a dream transition that led to the final scene with cliff mentioned above. besides having great time making this project with my friend, the production taught me to quickly adapt to changes and to come up with substitutions for those changes on the spot.

dark red

Dark red is one of my latest creative projects. With this short film, I explored abstraction and symbolism through which the story is told. With this short film, I learnt how to take my time to reshoot various scenes and how to light specific scenes so that the lighting complements the overall theme.
